What is the difference of insulated profile?

Aluminum profile, which is a metal, is a material that transmits heat easily. For this reason, in applications where aluminum profiles separate the interior from the exterior, e.g. Aluminum profile can be used with or without insulation in window, door and facade systems. So how is the aluminum profile made insulated?

The aluminum profile is thermally partitioned by means of special plastic rods called thermal insulation barrier. These plastic bars cut the contact of 2 different aluminum profiles that are in contact with the indoor and outdoor environment. The thermally partitioned aluminum profile with a thermal insulation barrier is called a thermally insulated aluminum profile.
